Basic stuff, akin to how modern walls aren't build brick by little clay brick, but by stacking AAC or calcium silicate blocks with cranes: quite a bit faster than classic brick-laying, but essentially the same thing.

    @HalvarFlake@mastodon.social (2/4) You might even do something like "OK, look at what we did for the frobulazor: we need something like that for the grokulator, only without the zanification part, and in N dimensions. Spec it for me" (sometime later) "OK, now with these corrections, build it". I've never tried it, but if I'm not mistaken, then that's the current state of the art -- with more or less iterations needed due to "errm, I get this compiler error" or "works now, but you missed the Nth dimension".
