two of the most infuriating types of people to me are 1) incapable of cognitive empathy and 2) incredibly fucking dense and theres always overlap between these two

@kokofish the frustrating part is that dense people often think they're being empathetic because they do feel bad when others feel bad (affective empathy). but they keep doing the thing that hurts you because they genuinely cannot model why it's hurtful in advance
