But e.g. people are not bouncing from the overuse of social media, even while the harm is apparent (even when it comes to their kids).
You tossed another CodeGen analogy of slot machines yourself recently. So dopamine factor of fast wins is there.
Possibility is real that the overuse will continue and that there can be no UNDO for the damage caused in software quality domain.

@mrudokas I think some companies will definitely destroy their codebases. I think we'll even see overhiring return because if they've deskilled their teams they'll need even more developers to try to make sense of their code. In other spaces I don't know - but I think anything AI becomes a commodity. Like - why would I buy AI art when I can just generate the same thing? There's no AI art business. But if I want something more unique the human art business might endure. Everything is a cycle.
