@mrudokas I think some companies will definitely destroy their codebases. I think we'll even see overhiring return because if they've deskilled their teams they'll need even more developers to try to make sense of their code. In other spaces I don't know - but I think anything AI becomes a commodity. Like - why would I buy AI art when I can just generate the same thing? There's no AI art business. But if I want something more unique the human art business might endure. Everything is a cycle.

  • @mrudokas Regardless of if we're in a bubble (I think we are) and if it pops, I think software will have its own issues for a while. Too much of the C suite has committed to a certain course - and they can't easily undo that without having to explain that to their investors. So that could extend well beyond the bubble. But I also think those companies will make themselves commodities that will be easy to compete against and they might die off.
