Sometimes automating things leads to dumb outcomes. I was on I-66 westbound, which turns into a toll road at 3 PM. I crossed the last gate at 15:00.36 and the system charged me a $0.65 toll. I have no idea why it didn't automatically deduct from my EZPass, since it was in the car, and they didn't find and charge the account even though it is linked to my license plate. It will cost more for them to print and mail the violation and receive and process the payment than the toll is worth. (1/2)
