@vonslatt They absolutely ARE data brokers. They share my data with their customers far beyond the campaigns to which I chose to give money and allow contact. Act Blue profits from my data well beyond the scope of my intent. The unsolicited solicitations I receive are because Act Blue shared data as part of a package from which they profit. There is no global unsubscribe. If you don't think that's data brokerage then that phrase doesn't mean what you think it means.

    @vonslatt I suppose you also believe that campaigns don't coordinate in any way with PACs. Act Blue, at best, allows the selling of the data they provide to campaigns. Like campaigns and PACs, it's all "wink, wink. nudge, nudge". It's dirty, period, regardless of "technicalities". I have a higher standard for innocence.

    @ricardoharvin the global unsubscribe is in your email client, just create a rule that sends "@actblue.com" email to spam.
