Hey meshers, would anyone be motivated to hack a @meshtastic or @meshcore chat application on #PalmOS devices ? The one on the photo has a nice display, nice keyboard and even Bluetooth! Avoiding the landfill for these devices (also with the phasing out of 2G/3G), would be an awesome reuse of resources ♻️. Looking into Palm SDK and existing open source apps for this platform...

@arthurlutzim@mamot.fr I doubt that this is useful. The nodes use BLE, a modern Bluetooth version optimized for energy saving, which functions differently than the classic Bluetooth used by Palm devices. The node firmware would need to be modified, which would likely significantly reduce battery life. 🤔
