  If you hate #Jira , just know that I made Doom and the Quake Trilogy run in Jira to ease your pain. #quake 3 Multiplayer works and has been proven in a LAN party setting at Atlassian Team 2026. I’m working on getting it into the Marketplace and doing a talk at Team 26 in Amsterdam. You can help me by making noise about it, buying a shirt or hoodie on bonfire and staying tuned for play tests.

  I love VIDA and my #Volvo but I super hate Windows. What can I do about it in 2026 that I couldn't do in 2018? Fire up the GhidraMCP, load up the VIDA Hjälpmanualer PDF, and RE a DiCE driver in Python. ...in a weekend. ...while I do other stuff.

  I started with pyodb because I wanted DTC with an ELM327 on a Mac. It blossomed into PyDiCE https://github.com/wjkennedy/PyDiCE I’m going TUI because I don’t like what Python UIs do to my RAM.

  VIDA allows the #Volvo owner Dealer-level access to the CANbus and control systems enabled with #DiCE, the CANbus interface unit. The VIDA app is a proprietary Java application that phones home, needs a cracked license to run, and needs Windows to run. No, wine won't work. Not even cxoffice does it. Maybe a worthy goal, but for now, #Python.

  20 years ago, flotsm.com was an idea made real in PHP. We didn't have NFTs yet and NFC hadn't really taken hold. QR codes were still innovative. Steganography and PNG chunking already had some useful attributes, and so that's what powered the early thing.
