@daks @kudra Exactly. And IP is also medium agnostic.
This becomes interesting when you start comparing RT with Onion for the privacy aspects.
And with the real standards for low bandwidth / small device IP(v6) like IEEE 802.15.4 and 6LoWPAN (I almost forgot about Thread).
Its just that implementing the official standards is actually quite hard (lots of requirements that most of experimenters do not need).
People should read them though, to not repeat past mistakes.

@marsik @kudra IP is medium agnostic but has some centralized components (IP attribution, and DNS, at least) and it's clearly not designed to be 'secure' like when cyphering everything. I find the idea of RT (https://reticulum.network/zenofreticulum.html) quite interesting
