@behdad @tphinney Without a doubt. And yes, by the numbers Google Fonts is the GIANT in serving VFs and most people never even know they are using them.

@onpaperwings @behdad @tphinney when the tech was released, I always assumed the biggest beneficiaries would be large companies annnnnd I think that has been largely true. More capabilities in a smaller file size—"bigger on the inside". VARC and avar2 feel like a further example of getting more for less.
