I ordered something two weeks ago, and just got it today. It's been bouncing around the eastern seaboard of the United States. Sometimes going further away from the destination. Thanks, USPS.

  • @nosrednayduj Last year I ordered something which initially got as close as Boston. But instead of being shipped from there to my home in deepest, darkest suburbia... It got sent to Puerto Rico. Apparently the folks there were as confused as me, since they bounced it around among various post offices in PR for a week. Finally somebody clued in on the ZIP code, and sent it along its proper way. I have literally no idea how that happened.

@nosrednayduj I've had that happen a few times. It sucks.

@nosrednayduj recently had the displeasure of having to send an extremely important package full of sensitive personal information from the US to France via USPS ; that was about 2 months ago and its last known destination was Shanghai China.

@nosrednayduj I live in the greater Seattle area. ordered a package that shipped _from Seattle_ to Florida and back. can only guess they're practicing for future mail-in ballot shenanigans
