@emilymbender@dair-community.social @trochee@dair-community.social possibly, certainly wasn’t the intent, but there’s a lot of it around.
I still find quote toots a bit ‘twittery’ in that they’re used to insidiously inject an agenda or narrative, rather than add to the current discussion thread. Maybe it’s just me.
Perhaps I should adjust that perception somewhat and embrace it.

Add that to all of the other kinds of mansplaining on here and I am often tempted to just give up on this platform. If you want to say something to the world, don't address it to me.
