I will say, it gives off very mixed messages if a post on a public forum carries rules of which way is the acceptable way to reply to it, especially for neurodivergent folks. I’m used to this, but I could have worded my allegedly supportive message of your position better, maybe even braved a quote tweet.
I’m not here to argue, and you leaving would be a significant loss.

I may be neurotypical, but I do not accept the premise that my expectations are idiosyncratic here. You clicked "reply" to a post of mine and then proceeded to type out things that were meant for ?the world at large, ?the clouds, ?something. If you reply to someone's post and don't start with at least "yes and..." or "I know you know this but..." the interpretation is that you are telling me this stuff that I already know.
