@jemmesedi @energisch_ @pixelcats It's not that the results won't have any effects on other countries, but the fundamental reasons for the rise of fascism, in Europe or elsewhere, are still very much there.
Even if you just consider Hungary, this election isn't the end of it all, it's merely the possibility for something else.

@jemmesedi @energisch_ @pixelcats From what I can gather, Péter Magyar, a former member of Orbán's party, looks a lot like him 20 years ago, and at this stage, it's quite a bet to assume that he will definitely make good on its promises. Even if he is willing, the corruption has had more that enough time to become structural, and it won't be easy to "clean the swamp".
