@jemmesedi @energisch_ @pixelcats From what I can gather, Péter Magyar, a former member of Orbán's party, looks a lot like him 20 years ago, and at this stage, it's quite a bet to assume that he will definitely make good on its promises.
Even if he is willing, the corruption has had more that enough time to become structural, and it won't be easy to "clean the swamp".

@jemmesedi @energisch_ @pixelcats And even if he does, assuming it means Hungary turns back to being a "normal" "democratic" state with a "representative" regime, where people see voting as either the pinnacle of Democracy or completely useless, and politicians are more concerned about hoarding power and funneling capital towards their friends than putting the economy at the service of regular human beings, well, I'd say the results of the next elections might be disappointing.
