@jemmesedi @energisch_ @pixelcats This is undeniably good news, no doubt about it, and I don't want to rain on the parade too much as we all need some relief and a little bit of hope right now.
But fascism, or any authoritarianism really, is first and foremost a local affair, long before it becomes a problem for the rest of the world.

@jemmesedi @energisch_ @pixelcats It's not that the results won't have any effects on other countries, but the fundamental reasons for the rise of fascism, in Europe or elsewhere, are still very much there. Even if you just consider Hungary, this election isn't the end of it all, it's merely the possibility for something else.
