@hellocatfood @trashpandaqc my students always want to learn TD, but i won't teach it in class because of the licensing (mainly)... i try to only teach with free/open software so that students never feel like they need a lot of money to make this kind of work.

@emenel that's definitely been my main motivation for using open source software. For sure the proprietary and expensive stuff has its place but I'm thankful that there's perfectly cromulent alternatives for people just starting in this area @trashpandaqc
