    there are a few artists (music, visual, etc) that have influenced my practice and aesthetic sensibilities very deeply. sometimes it seems like anything i’m doing that feels new is just waiting for me to rediscover that it basically already exists in one of these few artist’s work lol not that originality is that important to me tbh. but it does make me laugh when i put on an album that i loved 20 years ago and realize that my new idea is already on there. :)
