@simulo What counts as "engagement"? A half dozen people in a flame war in the comments giving a high comment count? 10k people hitting the like button? Dozens of people trying to engage with the OP and other commenters on the topic posted? There is a huge difference in the qualities of these options. I'm sure reasonable people could disagree as to which kind of engagement matters most to them.

@Lightfighter > There is a huge difference in the qualities of these options. I agree. My interest was in potential assymmetries of reaching others, not in assuming that "engagement" or some kinds of it are good – thus the suggestion to look at follower counts.
