@posiputt I’ve tried it a good few times and usually scramble back to arch or fedora where I’m more comfortable, but as long as you have like an entire afternoon to spare compiling your kernel and the more code heavy programs like your DE and Firefox then it seems to have some interesting advantages tbh

@smeef I know, I've installed and run gentoo before. I think it enabled me to get into linux enough to finally "get it". that was 2004 or so, but I've not used gentoo in over ten years now.
