This also heavily applies to the relationship between autistic and allistic people.
Why put in a little bit of effort to understand autistic people better, maybe learn something about them now, maybe an effort you have to go through once, if you can just expect them to adapt and conform to what you feel comfortable with?
I've wondered what would be a good term for this "anti-perfectionist", anti self-improvement mindset, but couldn't come up with a better term than "subsistism".

This is also one of my most important "political goals", to make more people realise, that a better society with "better people" isn't only possible, but would make things easier for everyone. There wouldn't be more struggle of "constantly having to stay a "high-performer"", but the ease of enjoying the fruits of what you've put in the effort to build. For some of us, that "ease" had to be built, because that "efficiency" was necessary, for others it would free up valuable recources. 10/10
