@MisuseCase @michaelgemar @sundogplanets this makes me more sad than the repeated misuse of Lord of the Rings. Tolkien's world is a deeply conservative one, with good kings who have the preordained right to rule over others, and various races who have their proper roles under them. I think some of the more aware techbros do channel that conservatism.
