I just had a nostalgia trip about the diviest dive bar, the beloved Mars Bar in NYC. I would take visiting friends there (pre warned) and they would still be shocked - from the cockroach scuttling across Ashley's hand to the regular who got confused about what end of the room he was in and started pissing against the bar. But a great jukebox, great staff, cool vibes and interesting people. I was lucky enough to travel back to NYC the last week it was open and have a farewell beer there. I also somehow became an administrator of the F***book fan page.
