@momo having the two chennels in the middle (2,3) working as polyrhythms means you have a generally quite interesting fill which is never quite the same as ch2 (7 steps) and ch3 (5 steps) try to trample each other as they weave over the underlying 4/4

@momo not a great example but an example of that.. starts off with bass womp and kicks on ch1, brings in ch2 (7 step), and then ch3 (5 step), switch to ch4 only (and matching downbeat-rides on 10) which then means you have dum-tiss but on the offbeat, and drop back to downbeat (ch1-kick 4/4 and ch11 rides offbeat)
