@clive it went 4X in less than a month. Sam announced he grabbed 40% of all ram raw material, everything went sold out, like story of ram vendor calling their customer to buy the ram back. Then went ram was back in stock at hugely inflated price.
I heard they might have canceled the deal, which should reduce pressure on ram price?

@gkrnours yeah, i wonder that too there appear -- based on the stuff I've been reading online -- to be other trends that were leading up the price squeeze ... ... like, RAM manufacturers were already cutting back on production runs because they had produced so much a few years previously that it led to a plunge in prices, lower than they'd like also, they're moving to a new design, so they were sunsetting some older processes
