Well, the diff-pair/VAS on this LV-103 is doing some wild stuff. The output of the power transistors (Y) slams first into the negative rail (~7s), then the positive (~7s), while the feedback circuit (R) lazily tries to steer it back to zero. Meanwhile, the protection IC (G, HF-looking noise can be ignored) is just puzzled (as am I) but eventually clicks the relay on.
Now the question is: is this amp designed this way? 30s to stabilize seems long...

There has been some elec cap replacement in this unit, so I thought maybe something's undampened/was assuming old high-ESR caps. But adding bleeding resistors here and there didn't really make a difference. Both channels are doing this, though not with the exact same timing, so it's likely neither a faulty component (then it would be only one channel), nor something upstream (then it'd be more synced). Plus, I don't know if this amp has always (i.e. before the recap) behaved this way. 2/x
