@ai6yr Yay!! Go Afroman! A person who can wield a pen (lyrics), music & video (including video pastiche) as a weapon. 🤺 I hope he now gives lessons in how to use that first amendment right creatively to fight back against brutality, stupidity & cupidity/greed (lemon pound cake cop) or just theft/corruption (cop stealing Afroman’s money ON CAMERA, no less). Oh, and I also hope that the cops’ kids get counselling or other appropriate help, as someone else 1st suggested in an elsewhere comment on this sorry affair (will see if I can source that thread - it’s worth reading & has a couple of good video clips & a summary of the whole affair). Here it is: mekka okereke :verified:: "This Afroman trial is giving m…" - Aus.Social Carolyn @CStamp “Basically, the cops are dealing with embarrassment. The man and his family are dealing with actual trauma.” And “I hope he wins and I hope the cops’ kids get therapy.” #Afroman #cops #policing #verdict #creativity #hero

@Su_G @ai6yr Yeah, it’s not fair for any of the kids. Afroman said his 10 & 12-yr-olds were traumatized, but at least those kids now get bragging rights that their dad fought the law and won. The cops’ kids, I imagine this verdict and the court coverage will have made it worse. Their parents don’t seem fit to guide them through this.
