they are not the main problem, the main problem is the system that does everything so that the “clean” alternative is less attractive/more expensive/inexistant compared to the fossil-fuels based one.
Which doesn’t change the fact that individual action is important and needed too, but it’s definitively not enough, and it should be made easier.

@ced That's the inconvenient (AKA lazy) excuse for millions to not do enough: - Nobody forces an individual to fly for leisure activities. Not "the system" nor anybody else. - Nobody forces people to eat tons of meat and dairy. - Nobody forces people to endlessly stream, take and post videos + pics, use AI. - Nobody forces people to overconsume fashion, electronics etc. If the vast majority of people were to reduce/minimize all of this, we'd be in a much better position. @phil_stevens
