@ErikJonker You wield “simple facts” as if they are weapons. Watch out everyone, I’ve got a simple fact! I’m not afraid to use it. But having a fact is not very interesting on its own. I don’t even think it’s true that I can never know if code is written by AI. I could, for example, ask the author to explain it to me, and if they can’t, that’s a pretty useful data point that they didn’t write it. I also don’t have to solve 100% of the problem, or else resign. I can take bites out of it.
