@glenjamin Sure - I’ve dabbled with a bit of Codex at work and can see it can be useful. I’m reserving judgment for the time being.
The person I am subposting directly compared “people who are averse to using LLMs” to “CSS die-hards [who] refused to use JS frameworks”, and suggested that both are consigned to irrelevance.
It was wrapped in faux concern for people making the wrong choice, and felt completely devoid of humanity - as well as being plain wrong that a skill can make you irrelevant.

@katiefenn ah, very much agree with you there Fundamentals have always been timeless IME, and my experience with LLMs doesn’t change my opinion much. The same is probably true of JS frameworks too tbh - anything so great that it has to be adopted widely will alsmot by definition be easy for an experienced developer to pick up
