@chestas
I agree!
I found a walking cane left behind in a shopping cart. Because there was a phone number on it, I called them to say I found it and if they were close by, I'd drop it off to them.
When I got to the door with the cane, he tried to give me money. I refused and told him about when my dad forgot his cane and a nice lady brought it too our house. I remember the relief on my dad's face. He was already tired from trip to the mall and having to back to retrace his steps would have been exhausting.
Being kind is a little thing that can mean so much to others.

@OohOkayKay @chestas I see kindnesses like this fairly regularly, and I do my best to add to the total. My go-to response when someone wants to give me money is "Thanks; your heart is in the right place, but I'm only passing on the kindness others have done for me. The next time you see someone who needs a little help, please give this to them with my blessings."
