@faduda @psneeze @ciaranmak @janwwbosch shocks like this are great at killing off small businesses who can't absorb the costs. Our neoliberal politicians don't care about them. Our government cares about foreign direct investment and big business, not about the working class. There is plenty more they could do to intervene, and they obviously need persuasion. If the left doesn't support and organise with the working class, we know who will.
