@psneeze @goibhniu I agree, these protests were branded as far right from the start and people were calling them stupid, completely ignoring the fact there are people who were driven to action by their real livelihoods being impacted, many of these folks have never protested before, the fact they can't make a living is real, the idea that our fuel prices doubling has no real impact is as ridiculous.
They have legitimate grievances, enough to garner real attention

@ciaranmak @goibhniu Every man, woman and child in Ireland and around the world is well aware of the oil crisis. We have a very business-friendly government in power that is well briefed on its effects on the economy. There is nothing, absolutely nothing, the protesters can tell the state that the state is not already acutely aware of.
