My wife also still uses WA because a lot of friends have it. I'm trying to convince her to talk her friends into using signal. My friends mostly made the switch so I fail to see why her friends couldn't.

@hans_zelf Indeed. I'm amazed that schools and even churches have WhatsApp groups. You'd expect these organisations to have some basic ethics, to care about the harmful actions of the companies they do business with, to be at least a little bit socially aware — but that seems to be too much to ask. @3fAltonHaHa @rootschange @NudelnAlDente
