Indeed. I'm amazed that schools and even churches have WhatsApp groups. You'd expect these organisations to have some basic ethics, to care about the harmful actions of the companies they do business with, to be at least a little bit socially aware — but that seems to be too much to ask.

@CppGuy @hans_zelf @3fAltonHaHa @NudelnAlDente WhatsApp is such a sticking point for many. Especially international folks who communicate with family and friends outside their country. I’ve been using my Deep Canvassing skills to try to listen for why they’re reluctant and then show how Signal is the better alternative for their needs.
