@juancommander That Take Two option sounds very interesting - I'm currently in a very long review process for something which I also didn't preprint and I do not have enough patience for this... 😂
And I was just curious! It was a very nice read! Sorry, I should have started with that. It confirms a lot from informal conversations that I have, and now when people ask me about it I actually have something to link them to instead of 'these are my experiences or conversations'.

@toothFAIRy Take Two worked great, and makes so much sense. Just because an article is not a good fit for some journal, does not mean that all that reviewer work should go to waste! Now you can point them to "these are the conversations that this research group had" instead 😅
