and the turkey is a "bird of courage"
and he's right
however there is a fine line between courage and stupidity, and oh boy does the turkey cross it

@benroyce @woodenmachines @grammargirl I have always been wondering. When I was a kid we raised turkeys every now and then, and they seemed quite stupid. But people said their wild cousins were way smarter? Dying from a cold when rained upon, but not understanding shelter or roof. Being ok with tiny chicks that were born before they arrived in the coop, but killing everything new, big or small. And it was quite easy to catch them, unlike our barbary ducks.
