@Photo55 totally, I was writing sites in the late 90s. I think the difference now is that the amount of effort to create something has never been lower with vibecoding. Vibecoding is a bad idea for a ton of reasons but it's definitely never been easier if you want to. That's what makes revealing private information about users to site and app owners more dangerous than ever.

    @wwahammy "Minimal." Handwritten html just tells people something. Handwritten CSS tells it slightly neater. I suspect that people who think that is likely to be reliable information are sophisticated. But many people think the glitzy version is truer. Still. And this vibe which you mention adds glitz, I think.
