Visiting townies remark how quiet it is here in the little hamlet amongst the fields and vines. Not quiet today. A wasp, a shield-bug, and two large flies are buzzing and banging around the SFKnAT. One neighbour is sawing planks, another is strimming. A teenager rides a quadbike up and down the cul-de-sac. Something spooked all three collections of hunting dogs, who are barking frantically. Two roosters are shouting at each other. You can hardly hear the garden birds. #SouthwestFrance
