Back when I had a synology I had a legit cron job that would chmod / chown an entire directory and its contents due to mismatching permissions from how the files were created / added

@b3ll@mastodon.social @caseyliss@mastodon.social i do this too, I have a media user specific for this plex to use, when chown hits it finds the files Failing that, the answer is found in the logs that the files weren’t named in the format plex wanted
