Not the worst idea I’ve seen. I imagine the increased air circulation would help prevent some cheese. Obviously this would not be for the people who like high dpi + high weight mice.

There is a whole world of ultralight mice out there. Did wonders for wrist, instead of using the anvil of an MX Master which ruined it.

I think about these things the same as bullshit ormolu furniture. Sure, it looks interesting, but it will get dirty, and it will be a pain fully in, up, and around the ass to clean.
