@mattiem Personally, I always wrote about topics I worked on that I've struggled with because of lack of documentation otherwise, or something I found interesting. Now that AI can pretty much solve almost anything, that kinda seems pointless. I feel like there's still place for content, more experience based than just plain tutorials. But on the other hand, am I just feeding AI at this point 😅

@dvrzan I like reading exactly those kinds of things! I suspect AI is going to reduce the traffic to pretty much all informational sites. So if your goal is views/clicks, I have no idea what or even if anything could work. But if you just like sharing stuff, then I think it still makes a lot of sense.

@dvrzan there are still people preferring hard knowledge over expensive tooling. I am a reader myself.

@dvrzan @mattiem hmm I don't care much for the feeding of AI, but I enjoy reading fellow techies telling stories about what interests them. I'll never build a 6502 powered custom PC ever, but the passion some folks talk about ASM and all the hardware building? Amazing, IMO In the end it's about connection for me. Not to learn Swift 6, but how Mattie does things, what he's up to, and learn to participate in discourse. My YT is woodworking, AI, indie games, painting, architecture, C++, Linux
