I thought me being Dutch would reduce my chances of being accepted into the European Commission's traineeships (with Amsterdam-Brussels being a 2-hour direct train ride I assumed many Dutch people would apply). I've been told the EC has a serious Dutch people shortage. Like how??? Only Belgians have an easier time commuting if they're unable to move…
