@hell Welcome to Emacs! =) I use Dvorak with mostly normal Emacs keybindings, I just happen to have extra shortcuts on things like C-. or C-, since those are easy to type on Dvorak.
Community-wise, https://reddit.com/r/emacs is pretty active, and https://planet.emacslife.com/ aggregates lots of RSS feeds.
I think you might have lots of fun!

@sacha Thank you!! :D so in in evil mode (is that a thinkg oudside doomemacs?) you'd still use hjkl for arrowkeys? I take it theres tools to make sure your new shortcuts doesnt kill your old ones.. whad does C-./C-, do in your env? :)
