if you own or are affiliated with such a business, yet dont know how to do this (ie you aren't technical or have never dealt with this kind of structured data), i can probably add it for you (or find someone who can) at no cost (i like accurate map data) if provided with accurate data, including; - name of business - type of business - latitude, longitude - ideally a website url - if possible, opening hours and similar - any other information the map should show - (important!) proof of existence elsewhere, ie on another map, to prevent complete spam requests i can also dump resources on how to do it or answer questions if doing it yourself is preferred. the wiki's beginners guide is a good general-purpose intro, but if you just want to make some small changes, other links may be more useful (most osm users are using other maps that use it's data; almost all non-google-maps mapping applications, from desktop apps to cars to anything running apple maps to many phones, use OSM, which is why it's particularly prevalent; the number in the quoted post is very much a low-ball, the real amount of people using OSM to find businesses is somewhere high in the millions) ​:boost:​ pls boost :3 RE: https://social.vivaldi.net/users/WilliamNB/statuses/116391083749679662
