Interviewer Matthew Linares posed some great questions, but I feel really missed the point towards the end, determined to direct the dialogue towards in-person organising as a remedy to online enshittification, rather than accepting we must take an anti-ableist, inclusive approach -- building and indeed organising within more democratic and accessible online spaces. Credit to @jim for emphasising that ORG do offer digital meetings too (when I joined ORG a few years back, as a carer for my Disabled partner, I was quick to point out that an emphasis on the "in-person" element, not least in the digital rights movement, wasn't going to sit well with me).

Obviously, again, given the mass disabling event that is Covid (an ongoing pandemic even according to the WHO), we must shift our quaint attitudes of Late Capitalism from "deserving" and "undeserving" poor people, away from "employment" in an economy of #BullshitJobs, to a different way of organising society, one of work only existing where it can be defined as care, and one where we recognise that we have enough resources on the planet for every human being to live a dignified life, and not one of us should be prevented from having just that.
