Reducing hospitalisations for babies with RSV by 80% due to a maternal vaccination during pregnancy is amazing.
I hope more vaccine trust building can up the rate of vaccination and reduce suffering for babies and their families as well as reducing demand on the NHS.

@NatalyaD This is great news! My youngest (now 17) was hospitalised at 5 weeks old with RSV. He had a partially collapsed lung. It was scary. RSV is not “just a cold”. I would have loved to have a vaccine available.

@NatalyaD we need more of these stories for sure. Our all or nothing attitude to disease is stressing a system built on vaccinating. https://newsletters.cbc.ca/q/1faIE3nVrpOOnfAK5ax4WWm/wv
