@whynothugo i can see one major advantage here, if it's implemented correctly that being, Visa and Mastercard directly interact with storefronts, and restrict them for selling goods they don't like (such as porn, as the most visible real-world example) if Wero is done correctly, Apple or Google don't know anything beyond that the user uses Wero for something; they can't threaten sellers because the entire process is between the Wero operator and the storefront so the only thing GApple could do is ban Wero entirely, which i doubt they'll do because that'd draw way too much regulatory heat towards them
