(How much do they modify things from the upstream devs? What sort of assumptions does it make? What's the worst thing the maintainer has said publicly since the last release?
Like, there's a lot of useful info you can include in a distro review, most of it more important than what their KDE install is setup to look like in the 10 minutes before you replace the background with your favourite anime catgirl picture and change the theme to match.)

(Tangentially, my desktop setup is pretty dull and contains 0 anime catgirls, but if you're using linux the betting odds are you replace the default with an anime catgirl or some approximation thereof)
