@bud_t@m.ai6yr.org I've never been happy with the cost/value of Heil headseats; they're just so expensive compared to the pro audio gear I've spent a lifetime with. But... They're solid, and while all the parts are overpriced, you can order what you need and get on the air without fuss, and that has value in a small niche like ham radio. And while I've tried others, I keep using my Heil headset.

@bud_t@m.ai6yr.org I recently tested a Koss SB-40. Great headset for the price but too bulky for me. I went back to Heil. I will try a W2ENY headset next time.

@bud_t@m.ai6yr.org have an older pair of the Heils’s, now discontinued model they work and are comfortable.
